If you're traveling to Hiroshima for pleasure chances are you plan on visiting Peace Park. Peace Park is Hiroshima's grim reminder of the realities of Wolrd War II and the dropping of the first atomic bomb in war. This building, known as the Atomic Bomb Dome is the shell of a building hit during the atomic blast that rocked Hiroshima. It has been left there as a reminder to the people of Hiroshima, Japan, and the world of the horrific consequences of a nuclear war. The Atomic Bomb Dome and the rest of peace park is a must see for anybody stepping foot in the city.
